TOWN WELL

1980’s Town Well

Park in the bay off the Arthur River Road, near the entry to Wagin and visit the old well.

For some years it was the main water source for the town. Water was carted using drums and a horse and cart.

Later water was collected by constructing catchments at the base of Badjarning Rock and Puntapin Rock.
